Each week WELF-NPC produces a 6-8 minute news update from North Pole City. These updates are meant to be short and concise to help deliver important news information to elves at North Pole City, Santa's Village, and all over the world.

When you can hear these shows on our live radio station.

The news update will be braodcsted on the radio station 4 times a day, every day: Midnight, 6 a.m., Noon, and 6 p.m.

Since working elves have short attention spans when it doees not involve their work, these updates have to be as short as possible. Featuring upadtes from Santa's Village (i.e. Workshops and warehouses), The Department of Elfland Security, TAOLF.com, North Pole City Commerce, North Pole City Council, North Pole City Sports, and more, each week also includes a short history related to a date within the week.

About our Host

Walter "Mistletoe" Livingstone, has been a investigative news reporter for many years. He was an intern for some time with the infamous Walter Winchell who was a syndicated American newspaper gossip columnist and radio news commentator. As you hear Walter Mistletoe's style, you may get a feel of the other reporter's style.

About our Investigative Reporter

Becky "Marshmellow" Livingstone, has been a reporer for The Peppermint Post for many years. She has served as the secretary for the North Pole Commerce Association and now she is the primary reporter for WELF-NPC News radio. Becky's only issue that keeps her from becoming an anchor is she sometimes goes off task and adlibs some of her personal opinions and thoughts, but she is working on that.

	The Charles Dickens Hour The Charles Dickens Hour is made up of many different old radio shows that had something related to Charles Dickens. Each week WELF-NPC North Pole City Radio will feature a different show on the station.
	Little Orphan Annie Part of the WELF-NPC North Pole City Radio's Kids Saturday Morning Show block, we will be rebroadcasting shows from the Little Orphan Annie Show.
	Christmas on the Moon There can be no Christmas without Santa Claus, so when our hero finds out that he has been kidnapped and taken to the moon there is no time to spare.
	The Lone Ranger Who Was That Masked Man? The Lone Ranger is one of the iconic characters in American folklore, and he got his start on Mutual, airing from 1933 through 1954.
	Standard School Broadcast The Standard School Broadcast began airing in 1928 under the sponsorship of Standard Oil of California, making it one of the earliest educational radio programs.

	Jungle Jim Jungle Jim was a long-running jungle adventure show, feet planted firmly in the footsteps of Tarzan, but with the hardware and politics of the modern great white hunter.
	Mark Trail When Mark Trail made his way to the radio from the Sunday Funnies, he picked up a greater sense of adventure, but he still had time to teach kids about life in the Great Outdoors.

	Rock Music Hour The elves that work deep in the mountains mining all of the coal for Santa love rock music. This show is dedicated to them and all of their hard work.
	Christmas Music Hour The Christmas Music Hour is one solid hour dedicated to Christmas Music.
